“You Need Pop!” (2005): The first ever album by the Speedies. Indeed this is the “debut album” from the band more than 25 years after the band began playing in NYC. This digital only release from the Speedies consists of a compilation of 10 of the best Speedies tracks. The album includes songs in original and remixed form from the first and second Speedies singles and tracks from a special Speedies recording session in Toronto (produced by Paul Hoffert). The album is exclusively available at Apple iTunes for its debut and will be available at more digital music stores soon to be announced.

“Let Me Take Your Photo” (2005): A digital EP consisting of Speedies songs in original and remixed form from the first and second Speedies singles as well as a radical new dance mix version (1980’s style) of “Let Me Take Your Photo”. The EP is exclusively available at Apple iTunes for its debut and will be available at more digital music stores soon to be announced.

“Yellow Pills: Prefill” (2005) [Compilation]: A compilation of power pop gems from the late 1970’s and early 1980’s including bands such as the Shoes, the Colors, Luxury, Tweeds, Colors, Toms, Kids, Treble Boys, Tommy Rock, Finns, with a couple of tracks from the Speedies, released by Numero Group.

“The Great New York Singles Scene” (~1982) [Compilation]: A compilation of New York bands that made great singles in the late 1970s including well known New York punk and power pop icons Television, Patti Smith, Richard Hell and the Void-oids, the Marbles, the Student Teachers, and the Speedies. The album has been available intermittently for the last 20 years at Amazon, Tower records, etc.; from Reachout International Records (ROIR).

“Something on my Mind / Time” (1981): The Speedies second single including “Time” and “Something on my MInd”. The second Speedies single was produced by Clem Burke from Blondie. Periodically, copies of this Speedies single are available on eBay as collector items.

“Let Me Take Your Foto / No Substitute” (1979): The Speedies first single ever containing “Let Me Take Your Foto” and “No Substitute”, distributed by Golden Disc records. Periodically, copies of this Speedies single are available on eBay as collector items.
